BRIEF HISTORY:
The KTH Royal Institute of Technology is a public research university located in Stockholm, Sweden.
KTH is Sweden’s largest technical university and conducts research and education in engineering and technology.
University is ranked 74th in the world. The university’s motto is: „Sience and Art “.
KTH was established in 1827 as the Institute of Technology and had its roots in the School of Mechanics that was established in 1798 in Stockholm.
KTH ‘s origin dates back to the Laboratorium mechanicum, which was established in 1697 by the Swedish sciencist Christopher Polhem.
The Swedish king, Carl XVI Gustaf, is the patron of KTH.
DEGREE PROGRAMMES
KTH offers one bachelor’s programme taught in English - Information and Communication Technology.
KTH offers 62 MSc programmes taught in English. These programs cover subjects ranging from natural sciences to various branches of engineering, architecture, industrial management, and urban planning.
16 of the programmes are jointly given in collaboration with other prominent universities.
ALUMNI:
KTH Royal Institute of Technology is 699th in the world, 246th in Europe, and 5th in Sweden by aggregated alumni prominence.
KTH-alum hold a global network of 100 000 alumni in more than 100 countries.
KTH's schools has a total of 27 research departments that include researchers and faculty from around the world.
The research consist of a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, industrial management, natural sciences, architecture, urban planning, philosophy and history.

CAMPUS INFO:
There are 5 campuses: KTH Campus (the main campus at Valhallavägen), KTH Kista, KTH Södertälje, KTH Flemingsburg and KTH Solna.
At KTH Campus you can find:

concerts, open lectures, guided tours of art, architecture and history
parks and outdoor spaces, including access to the Royal National Park – the world's first national urban park.
Everyone is welcome to KTH's open events in, for example, the KTH reactors hall and tours of laboratories.
