MIT

Interested in MIT? We have contacted the admissions office to deliver our website visitors first-hand information from their favourite schools.

From the Undergraduate Admissions office:

A few resources from MIT:

Our admissions website is a great place to learn more about MIT, what to expect as a student, and the application process. I would recommend engaging in our choose your own adventure experience on our website to get the most out of the information provided.

In terms of STEM education, our general institute requirements page and our majors & minors page may be able to provide some helpful insight.

MIT has a very long history of educating international students, and we continue to welcome them today. For helpful information for perspective international students I would check out international applicants page.

In general, the most important way to prepare for MIT is to focus on becoming your best self by pursuing your interests, your aptitudes, and your education. We go into more detail on prepare for MIT including what to do in High School, enrichment opportunities, etc.

Exploring our blogs is another way to learn about MIT through the lens of student, alumni, and faculty.

I would also highly recommend communicating with a student! Send an email to askastudent@mit.edu and you’ll be matched with a current student who can answer your questions.
