BRIEF HISTORY:

  • Located in Rotterdam, Netherlands

  • Officially established in 1976 to expand the medical training facilities due to a lack of medical professionals

  • Founded by Sjeng Tans, a political leader in the province of Limburg, after the decision of the Dutch government

DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

  • EUR offers a high-quality bachelor programmes, resulting in an internationally recognised Bachelor of Science (BSc) or  Bachelor of Arts (BA)

  • 15 programmes in the English language, 8 in the Dutch language

  • Most programmes last 3 years, with the exception of double programmes

  • Most students go directly into master studies

  • Beggining of the third year – students get to choose a minor

  

MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

  • 50+ programmes available, including 91 in English, 15 in Dutch and 4 in both languages
